NURSING HOME NEGLECT and ABUSE

With people living longer and longer, more and more people are spending the final years of their lives in nursing or elder care facilities making the standard of care provided by these facilities extremely important. While each facility must be reviewed and approved by the state, there are many instances where the standard of care is lacking leading to abuse or neglect. In this environment, neglect and abuse of your loved one can occur.

At LT Pepper Law, we are committed to assuring that nursing homes provide the type of care you or your loved ones are entitled to and deserve.

Some signs of neglect or abuse include

(1) dehydration or malnutrition.

(2) Bed Sores, Pressure sores and ulcers.

(3) falls, dislocations, broken bones.

(4) infections

(5) inappropriate use of physical restraints.

(6) Physical or emotional abuse.

If you believe you or your loved one are victims of neglect or abuse, please contact LT Pepper Law for a free consultation at 267.626.7546. Never be afraid to recognize and demand your rights.
